Kindly note that I have moved my website and blog and I will no longer be active here. Please visit my new website.
I am a Ph.D student under the supervision of Dr. Toktam Mahmoodi and Dr. Solon Pissis in the Department of Informatics (Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences), King’s College London. I am a member of both — the Centre for Telecommunications Research and the Algorithms and Data Analytics Group. I have submitted my dissertation in June 2018. My research so far has focussed on developing algorithmic and data-driven solutions to problems originating in the bioinformatics domain. Specifically, I have developed efficient algorithms and software-tools to process large input data with uncertainties (due to errors, imprecision etc.).
- Algorithms and Data structures on sequences for pattern matching, indexing, text-compression etc.
- Algorithms in Bioinformatics; specifically, analysis of third generation sequencing data
- Algorithmic Engineering
Excited to be a part of StringBio 2018 (International Workshop on String Algorithms in Bioinformatics) being organised in the University of Central Florida from 25th to 27th of October. No registration fee. Moreover, a few travel grants available. See you there?
